Welcome
I’m Em; lover of the wild, a Bean Draoí, and passionate about reclaiming our ancestral roots. Returning to nature and nurturing the wild within is how we reclaim both ourselves and our ancestral memories.
This online space is my creation for the things I enjoy and want to share. A creative outlet for me, and I hope a place of peace and exploring for you. Folk herbalism (hello my fellow kitchen witches), and all things mystical & esoteric make up just some of my interests. I wanted to be able to share what I’m learning or reading as I delve deeper into these topics myself. Thank you for coming on this journey with me.
Nature is within all of us. I’m a huge believer that folk medicine and herbalism is for everyone. We don’t need to look back far into our lineage to find a Bean Feasa, medicine women or women of the land. The desire to cultivate a relationship with the natural world around you is deeply human, sacred, and part of us. I’m here to share ways for you to cultivate your own sacred relationship with the plant allies around you, and become your own medicine maker.
Kitchen medicine, folk herbalism, whatever you want to call it — is yours to step into if you desire. No piece of paper, amount of money or ‘guru’ is going to give you something that is already yours: a connection to the land as well as a desire to heal, soothe, and thrive. You will find resources to guide you on your own unique journey with the land around you throughout my blog and site. (Currently building these resources as I go).
The Living Through Nature apothecary is to nurture the sacred wild within. Using organic plants, herbs, and flowers to handcraft micro-batch botanicals. A range of offerings to aid in emotional grounding, spiritual protection, physical soothing and more.
The land is our biggest teacher and healer. Nature gifts us everything we need. Living through the magic of the land, the magic of nature, is the key to coming back to our power and reclaiming the ancestral truths & memories coursing through our veins.
